I started Finishing Touch Furniture Restoration in 1991, but around year 2000, I started selling restoration products over the internet as an income supplement since I was barely getting by on the small salary I was generating. I loved the work, but it is very time consuming in which a lot of people don't realize. The mail order sales continued to grow, and I soon realized that there was not enough of time for me to continue doing the restoration work, so I changed the business name to Furniture Knowledge and have committed myself to the mail order side 100%.
